Einstein had been working in Bern's patent bureau for seven years before he became famous. He was engaged in checking, evaluating and correcting the claims of inventions, which had brought into the bureau. In addition, he had to deal with the inventors and talk with them over the challenged problems. The majority of electro technical innovations came up to Einstein and all of them should be looked through very thoroughly. One day E. Riss, a young doctor, addressed him with the request to receive a patent to his invitation 'the device for taking out blood in favor of medicine'. The scientist found the young man a very prominent person and made friends with him. Einstein eagerly helped him to organize the patent and asked to come to his place. They spent much time together and even did music. Lots of other complicated issues had been performed by Einstein and he was quite satisfied with his job. A legend about the great scientist that it was easy to earn money was not true. He always had a lot of work to do in Bern's patent bureau. His creative years were full of events. He was busy with papers but when he had a little free time, he turned to physics immediately. Sometimes Haller appeared in the doors and found Einstein taking patents out the table and hiding other papers into it. Outsiders said that Einstein had been working about eight hours without any rest and besides he had to learn technic drawing. His own articles were waiting for his spare time to be written down. As for Einstein, he called expert practice 'miserable' and the experts 'servants' of patents. But his profound mind, deep understanding of physics and an amazing intuition helped him to get along with everything: inventors, papers and personal hobbies. These early creative years appeared to be the beginning of his personal inventive activity. And step by step he got a promotion and received a position of expert position of grade two. In winter 1904 he became doctor of philosophy of the Zurich University. Einstein had 4500 francs then (director had 8000 francs that time). Well, a question is: where and when did Einstein write the theory of relativity? The answer is: 'In Kramhass, Bern, 49.' There is a sign on the house: "In 1903-1905 Albert Einstein was creating his theory of relativity in this very place". Einstein had been married that time and very often his friends found him busy with a child in one hand and papers in the other strolling along the house making notes on that theory of relativity. It had been finished in June, 1905 when the baby was only one year old.
